Reminder: Maria Malmer Stenergard to receive New Zealand’s foreign minister and take part in meeting of Nordic leaders in Stockholm

On 29 October, Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard will receive other Nordic leaders and New Zealand’s Minister of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm. The Nordic leaders will meet in Stockholm within the framework of the informal foreign and security policy cooperation between the Nordic countries (N5) and will also hold a separate meeting, with Ukraine at the top of the agenda. In 2025, Finland is coordinating the N5.

Practical information: Advance registration is required by 07.00 on Wednesday 29 October via email to Nina Kefi (see press contact below). State your name, the name of your editorial office and the capacity in which you wish to attend (reporter or photographer), and confirm that you have valid press credentials and provide the name of the issuing organisation. You must show your press credentials on entry.
Entry 11.30–12.00. Attendance is subject to available space. Pre-registered journalists must collect a badge from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs International Press Centre, Fredsgatan 6, between 08.00 and 10.00 on 29 October. Please bring your press credentials or valid ID.
The meetings will take place in conjunction with the annual Session of the Nordic Council, which is being held in Stockholm this year.
A joint press conference will be held after the meeting.
